Brinley's Makeover

While Keeley got a Princess make over Brinley helped to make over the store.
Here is a picture before Brinleys arrival

and after
Pappy kept her company in order to avoid the room full of little girls and lots of hairspray.

These two I just couldn't pass up. She gives me these faces all the time.

Princess In the Making

Literally. Keeley was treated by Nana and Pappy to a Princess Makeover at the Biddidi Bobbidi Boutique, fairy godmother included. It was quite a sight to see your baby girl with makeup. Ahh! Keeley was all about it. It really was quite an awesome experience for her.

Here is how you make a princess. First Nails. . .

then makeup and jewels. . .
next hairspray, and lots of it. . .
then fake pink hair (this was a must in Keeley's book).
Now a little pixie dust. . .
a picture with your fairy godmother and
Ta Da, you have a Keeley Princess as she calls herself.
What does a beautiful princess do. . .

she protects the snakes from the storms at the Rain Forest Cafe? how thoughtful.
Nanny and Grampy Evarts treated us all to Rain Forest Cafe for lunch after the makeover and it was wonderful. I can remember going there as a child and it was such a treat.
It was a great trip to Florida thanks to everyone who made it possible! I hope we get to go back again sometime soon.

Disney World

Ohh the Magic of Disney!

Animal Kingdom-We started the Day at Animal kingdom just after the gates were opened. Keeley had been talking about this day for weeks so she could hardly stand it getting ready that morning. We had a wonderful day through and through. Keeley was a little clingy to me I think there was just so much stimulation she was a little overwhelmed.

Maginc Kingdom-When we first walked into Magic Kingdom Keeleys eyes got so big. It truly is an amazing park and from 34" tall it has to be even more spectacular. Keeley could hardly move she was so overwhelmed. Just after we arrived they had a show with Mickey that we had been watching on U Tube to help get her ready so she was excited to see it.

We caught almost every parade that day. They were Keeley's favorite parts. We also rode the tea cups, dumbo, small world and Aladdin Magic Carpet.
This little one was amazing. She rode all the rides with us and had no fears. She reallys is a great baby.

Flordia

The end of February we headed to Florida. I was terrified of the drive with the munchkins but it worked out just fine. We stopped half way on the trip down and had very few problems ( just a blow out or two).

Brinley learning to walk at our hotel the first night.
Great Grampy Evarts made a great jungle gym.
Great Nanny Evarts and the Girls

Caught Up

Okay I posted 11 posts in order to get mostly caught up but its done! Enjoy~

Funnies

Keeley speaks really well but there are few things that she says that are hilarious so we thought we would share them. Enjoy!

Brinley-9 months

Against my will Booski continues to grow. Here are a few tidbits about her right now:
  • She is crawling and has been since the week before Christmas. Her crawl is more of a seal like movement but her lats are amazingly buff because of it.
  • She has 4 teeth and two just below the surface. She likes to grind them which drives me bonkers.
  • She loves her big sister and followers her everywhere even to timeout.
  • She is a happy giggly baby.
  • Daddy's favorite thing to do to her is to nibble her cheeks.
  • She gives lots of kisses to anyone willing to endure the open mouth slobber.
  • Her only word is NaNa but in her mind it means feed me now.
  • She goes to bed around 8 and most night sleeps until 6 when she wants a bottle. She takes 2 or 3 naps.
  • She just recently started to hold her own bottle. She is awful lazy in this department.
  • She can pull herself up on almost anything including my skirt hems
  • She is refusing to eat baby food but loves chicken nuggets cut up into tiny piece, brownies, macaroni and cheese or anything else we don't have to feed her on a spoon.
  • She 28.25" tall putting her at the 81 percentile.
  • She weighs 17 pounds and 3 ounces making in the 22nd percentile.
All in all Booski is great! She makes the entire family so happy and we love we so much. I hope the next three months go slow. I'm not ready for a one year old yet.

Merry Christmas to Me

Yep this is all I wanted this year for Christmas. I wanted spice cabinets which will in turn give me more time that I waste every time I try to cook and have to pull everything out of the cabinet to find the Cumin. Matt did good they were even better than I had hoped for.

Snow Day

Snow Day on average happen every seven years in North Carolina (or so we have been told) but let me tell you we have had a snow day every year we have lived here. This year kids have been out of school 4 day due to snow and ice from two different storms this year.

Our second storm left a layer of ice almost .5 inch thick at our house. Matt happened to be out of town for this storm and I was left with his skiddy little stick car so I didn't dare venture out with the thick ice and the little Saturn. So we stayed in the three days it took for the ice to melt.

These pictures are from storm #1 and were taken a few days after it fell. It is so weird to me to see our house covered in snow.
Brinley was sick during the snow storm so Keeley and Daddy headed out by themselves to play in the snow. They built a slide.
And a snowman. Notice his accessories are made out of what you do have in North Carolina. . . sand toys.

Snow we were sad to see you leave so please return next year for a few more fun filled days.

Brinley's 1st Christmas

Brinley's favorite part of Christmas was unwrapping all the presents and then eating the paper.

This is what the sight of chocolate does to babies.

She is saying what do I do with a sleeping bag? Don't worry baby Boo we will teach you soon enough.

Keeley's 3rd Christmas

Christmas was awesome, mostly because of this little girl. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. Nana and Pappy sent presents for the 25 day leading up to Christmas so she knew exactly what it was about and what to expect. She sang Santa Clause is Coming to Town for weeks and had a very specific Christmas list. As you can imagine when Christmas morning arrived she was ecstatic.

Okay maybe in this picture she wasn't ecstatic but pictures were taking too much time.
Keeley asked Santa for a Barbie (she got 3) and a ZhuZhu pet. Santa Delievered.

Here she is showing off her new clothes and her princess shoes.

She also got a Helly Hansen Jacket (lucky!)
