Trouble

You were lucky not to be in our house the day this happened:

Yes, permenant maker (silver to be exact) on two separate walls. These pictures were taken after the first round in which I apparently didn't get across to Keeley how bad that was becuase it happened again. Minutes after these photos were taken.
The second time there are no pictures I was too mad to take any.
What is on my list to do this weekend? Repaint two walls.

A Good Day

Thursday was a great day. Nearly all of my plans got canceled so last minute I found out that Keeley and I would have a day to ourselves. No extra children, no taking Keeley to friends. Just the two of us. Although we did go shopping for a few hours and met up with some friends.

She was delightful. She would crawl up on her chair and put her arm around me and say "Its okay Mommy, Its okay." While she patted my back. I must have looked sad.

She listened. And when I told her to pick up her toys she did it. That makes any day better.

We had a few little incidents but she came and told me when she made a "mess", as she would say. Like the time the rocker fell over. She kept telling me something that I didn't understand so eventually she resorted to "come" with a leg pat like we use to do to Ridsy. I followed her to see the rocker had flipped over. She said "uh-oh, help please."

Her new thing is to spell the letter she sees. She points to the letter and starts reciting letters. Her favorites to use are "e, r, c." Its too funny.

When something goes really wrong she says "Darn It." Guess who she got that from? Oh well, she could be saying much worse things.

I sure love this little girl.

Its great to be a girl

Boys just can't do these things and look as cute as girl. (I'm trying to justify that two girls will be a good thing so let me get away with that statement.)

Opps how did that photo sneak in there. That pose I think is better looking on boys.
