Ginger You Will Be Missed

Our dear friend Ginger Clinton was called back to our Fathers presence this weekend. For those of us left behind it is hard to understand the Lords ways at times like these. She was a beautiful wife and mother of four. Ginger touched the lives of everyone she encountered, me included. She will be missed beyond measure. I know that she will be re-united with her family one day.
Ginger you have taught me. . . .
to hold my onto the wonderful moments in life
to tell those around me that I love them
to play and enjoy what you are given to experience
to take life a day at a time (even when you are given challenges, like losing jobs)
that our families are our greatest gifts
to strive to always be a better person

Jason, you and you children are in our prayers.

Ginger. . .until we meet again.

Baby Blessing

Matt gave Keeley her blessing on Sunday July 13. We were fortunate enough to have the Roberts family here for her blessing and a fun weekend. Keeley wasn't too excited about getting her picture taken so I have to try again to get better pictures.

The three of us in front of our pond.

Keeley in her beautiful outfit and blanket. Outfit is from Mom Conner. Blanket was knitted by Aunt Jan, it is an Irish blessing blanket especially for the Evarts Family descendants. All of her accessories (bow, bracelet) are from Aunt Mackenzie, she also made them.

The family right after sacrament meeting. What a special day and experience.

Sean and Ashleigh Are Engaged!

With their permission I get to spread the word that Sean and Ashleigh are engaged. Sean was studying abroad in Italy this summer and Ashleigh went to visit for his last week. He popped the question on a gondola last Sunday. Pretty romantic if you ask me. I'm so excited for them and for me(I get a great sister in law)! Sean and Ash have been dating since high school and they will seniors at University of Idaho next year. We love Ash she fits in so well with our family and we joke that she puts up with Sean so what isn't to like. They really are two great people. We love you guys and think so much of you as individuals and as an example to us on love, patients and communication as a couple.

Check Up and Myrtle Beach

Keeley had her one month check up last week and all was well. She weighed in at 9lbs 14 oz and 23". She is growing so fast. She is in the 95th percentile for height and 75th for weight. I just can't believe that she is my daughter. I don't think I ever hit the 25th percentile for anything. Doctor also said that all the crying that we experience is just colic. I guess there is good and bad to that. I'm hoping that she will out grow it soon. My Mom said that she is as fussy as Sean ever was. Just knowing that makes me feel better. Keeley's blessing is this weekend, I will post pictures of that next week.

Mom Conner visits on her way to Pennsylvania. This is taken behind our apartment.

We also took a trip to Myrtle Beach with the long weekend. Mom Conner was visiting again and we had a wonderful time. Keeley was REALLY good. We enjoyed some wonderful seafood, a beautiful resort, and the beach. The beaches are different than in California. They are not as pretty and the sand has so many sea shells on it that it hurts to walk but the water is so warm you could stay in it all day.

The Three of us at Myrtle Beach

Keeley in her swim suit. I stuck her feet in some water but as you can tell she wasn't too fond of it.
