It was actually a pretty low key Easter. Keeley ended up being pretty sick and didn't really want to even look for eggs. Poor girl spent most of the day throwing up and not eating. We didn't have church either that Sunday because of General Conference being broadcast from Salt Lake City, something that happens the first Sunday each April.

Sun Birds
With the warm weather came Nanny and Grampy Evarts migrating back to Pennsylvania from Florida. We enjoyed a very spoiled day with them. Keeley instantly knew who they were and started in on hugs and holding Grampy's hand to show him around the house. It was precious.
They took us to eat (both lunch and dinner!)
We had a backyard egg hunt.
We even got new toys (and rocks).
Keeley was pushed on the swing for hours.
And we just had a good time cuddling and talking.

Thanks for visiting. We love it when you stop in on your travels. I'm so late posting these pictures that I also get to say Happy Birthday to Nanny. I'm hoping Brinley will share your birthday with you. Everyone cross your fingers.

Ice Day
In January we got an ice day. Snow wouldn't be an accurate description of what covered the ground although we were amazed that some people managed to form the ice into balls to make snowmen. I guess you settle when you live in North Carolina with whatever white stuff you get. Kids were out of school for almost a week and church was canceled.
Keeley wasn't sure about our adventure outside. It started out okay while daddy pulled her in our laundry basket. But then she wanted to pull the basket.
Which caused many tears when she fell on the sharp ice.
So it ultimately lead to this.
There is nothing like sledding in the house.
