We're Moving
I have several other post I need to add but in order to get the information out. Yes we are moving. . . actually tomorrow. We "officially" found out on Thursday last week. So, we have packed up and load the truck today and in less than one week we will be out of California. I'm headed north to stay with my Mom and Dad and relax for a few days before I fly to North Carolina (yes that is where we are headed). I will meet Matt there on April 1, just 45 days before we expect the baby to arrive. Fortunately Gail (Matts Mom ) will fly in tomorrow to help keep Matt awake and safe on his long drive, it will take him close to 40 hours to get there and he wants to do it in just 3 days. We will see how every one holds up. It is a good move for us but we will miss southern California and all our friends.

Moorpark 1- Undefeated!

Those of you who know me will never believe this story. I was called to be the YW sports coach/coordinator last spring. Not a problem right! Well, the sports happen to be volleyball, basketball and softball. My three greatest weakness. When Justin Pitcher found out he laughed because he claims the only way I play basketball is by tackling. Not much of a stretch. Volleyball went fine but in basketball my girls went undefeated! It's true. I'm afraid it had very little to do with my coaching or basketball abilities. But we had a great time and the girls are wonderful and pretty darn good at basketball too. NICE JOB GIRLS!!

Hollywood

We took a day trip one afternoon to Santa Monica and the Hollywood Sign. So I decided that before we left California that he needed to do that. Devin Wilson went with us, Stacy was out of town. Neither of the two California boys had been. So I decided that before we left California that Matt needed to do that. We started by going to Diddy Riese's to get $1.5 ice cream sandwiches. If you live close by this is a LA must do. Then we drove to the walk of fame. It rained the entire time and I had to go to the bathroom so bad that we ended up spending more time in the Napa Auto Car Store than on the street. Besides have you ever noticed that you don't really know very many of the people who have stars. Odd! The boys didn't mind the drive though because you see so many really nice cars. Many of the cars were worth more than $100K. Then we headed to the Hollywood sign and by pure luck we got really close. It was a fun little venture. It was probably a good thing that Stacy didn't go because we spent over an hour checking out the landscapes on the way out. We ended the day by endulging in Two Guys from Italy (German Food). Don't ask.

Baby Bump and Blanket
Welcome to week 28 of pregnancy! So as requested here is a picture of the baby bump (or "the beast" as Matt and I were calling it for a while). Fortunately I feel as though the growth has slowed ever so slightly in the last month. I'm sure my doctor will let me know if it hasn't next Tuesday when I visit. We were at the Thousand Oaks Gardens of the World when we finally took the picture. I'm not sure it does my belly justice but at least it is far enough away that the chubby checks are also harder to see :)

Here is the baby blanket that I tried to describe in an earlier post. I love it! Thanks Gail. We all ready have it on the crib just waiting!

Nursery
So the Crib and Changing Table are finally here. Not that I still don't have four months until the Baby should arrive. Thanks heavens for great moms who are help so much on getting our little nursery set up.
THE CRIB & CHANGER
Mom & Dad Conner helped us with these. We (actually I) was so excited to get the crib. It is my dream Crib but Matt would have been fine with clearing out a drawer in the closet for the Baby.
THE BEDDING

I found a bedding set that I fell in love with at the same place that I bought the Crib. The problem was that the bedding was 1.5 times the price of the crib. I showed it to Mom Roberts and she is going to make it for me! It gets even better than that. In the picture it looks a little wild so she is going to make a solid bed skirt that will ease me into the whole pink thing. But the style and colors will be very similar. Except that the only pink will be in the print and the other colors will be brown, beige and cream. She is also making many of the accessories that you see in the pictures just using slightly different fabrics based around the fabric swatch that is shown. I'm very excited!
CLOTHES
Jen Gibbs gifted me all of her daughters hand me downs. Take a look at this closet already. Matt claims she already has more clothes than him. It might actually be true. Not only are there tons of outfits but they are adorable. I think after seeing all of this you probably have noticed that this child is getting spoiled from all directions already and she hasn't even arrived yet. Only 113 days until the due date.
