A Baby, House and Car in Three Weeks!

So between May 30th and June 16th we have been blessed with a Baby, House and a Car. Needless to say it has been pretty busy around here.

We finally bought a second car so I get my Equinox back! It was getting old getting a baby up at 5 in the morning to take Matt to work twice a week (a hour round trip). Matt bought a Saturn. He loves it! This isn't the exact car but it is nearly identical.

We found a house we fell in love with just days before Keeley was born. However, we didn't have a relator and the house was for sell by owner. So we have had to learn how do this on our own. It has been quite an experience but we close on July 25th so we are very excited. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. I has a one car garage, formal dinning room and eat in kitchen. Our favorite part (other than the fact that we can afford it) is that it is on a .5 acre lot in a perfect little development.

Living Room (we mostly bought the house for the super sweet carpet and curtains!)

Keeley 1st Month

I can't believe it has already been a month. Keeley is growing so quickly. We go the doctor tomorrow and we will see how much weight she has gained. Matt and I have a bet on what she weighs now. So we wanted to share some more pictures with you of the events of the last month. Sorry the pictures are in no particular order so I added the date to the end of each of them so you know how old she was. Enjoy!

We finally bought a swing last week! It has been a life saver. Keeley will only sleep if she is held, in our bed or in the swing. So it has allowed me to at least get a shower. jk We loved this picture because her head is kinked in the most uncomfortable looking way. She tends to sleep in that position most of the time. (6/25)

Grandma Roberts came to visit for a week and helped me get back on my feet (6/3)

We all worried that Riddle would get jealous with a baby around however, Riddle likes to thing of it as a new cuddle buddy. There haven't been any problems so far. Riddle cuddles with her but other than that she doesn't seem that interested. (6/3)

Pappy Conner came and spent a week with us after Gail left. This wasthe first time he was able to hold her. He looks almost as excited as Matt did in the hospital pictures. Pappy claims that he has the magic touch when it came to holding Keeley. As you can tell in the picture it seems to be working. (6/7)

Our bright eyed girl. Keeley spends more time a wake each day than sleeping. On average she will be up 3 hours between naps and has been that way since we brought her home from the hospital. But, I can't complain much because she will sleep between 4-7 hours each night before she wakes up to eat and then she goes right back to sleep. I'm a pretty lucky Mom! (6/8)

Keeley Addison Roberts

Keeley was born on the morning of Friday, May 30th 2008. She came into this world at a whopping 8 lbs 10 oz and 22 inches long. She is doing great and is the CUTEST THING EVER!. Those who know me know I am brutaly honest and she is the CUTEST THING EVER! Mom is doing well although Friday night was a little rough because Keeley wanted to be held. Dad (Me) is also doing well mostly because Mommy and Baby are well.

40 Weeks

Just to keep everyone posted. I had another Dr's visit yesterday. Good news is that I will have the baby this week. If she doesn't come before next Friday (may 30th) they will induce me then. Hopefully she will decide to come on her own before then. But, at least there is a date to count towards. Thanks for all you comments and prayer!

38 Weeks and Counting

Yes, I'm still pregnant. Just a few days away from 39 weeks and very few signs of little Keeley coming anytime soon. So, we wait. If my poor feet weren't 4x their normal size I don't think it would be as miserable. They have swollen up so much that some days I can't even walk on them. We'll keep you all posted, its looking more and more like she may come on my birthday!
